What`s PomoTimer?

  • PomoTimer it's an flexible, mobile friendly and easy to use Pomodoro Technique Timer. It's a mix of inspirations of other similar apps but with the best part of each them.
  • The main inspiration for design and layout was Pomofocus, that's one of the most famous similar App and was made by a young developer like us
  • Another big inspiration was TomatoTimer, that have a lot of cool funcionalities that we want to apply in future updates

How to Use PomoTimer?

  • Take your to-do list and write down your daily tasks
  • Each task you wrote down will take 25 minutes = 1 pomodoro
  • Select a task to work on
  • Start timer and focus on the task for 25 min to complete one focus stage
  • Take a Break for 5 minutes when the alarm sound ring
  • Every 4 pomodoros completed, take a longer break (15:00)

The Pomodoro Technique

The Pomodoro Technique was created by Francisco Cirillo, one of inspirations for this app. The technique is based in a focus period (25:00) interspersed with a short rest period (5:00) to increase productivity and prevents distractions during job, or study time. Each completed cicle (focus + rest) is known as a Pomodoro, that means Tomato in Italian.
